General Annual Membership Meeting: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 6:30 p.m. Hilltop Arboretum	Annual Ladies Coffee - March 26, 2009 Our annual ladies spring coffee will held on Thursday, March 26th from 10am-12noon. This is a great way to meet and visit with your neighbors. This year's coffee will be held at Ella Rein Wheeler's home, 1040 Rossmore Ave. Everyone is invited and is asked to bring a dessert or savory item to share.	2009 GOHCA MEMBERSHIPS January begins a new year and membership will once again be $50.00.
	GOHCA Ice Cream Social - April 26, 2009 2-4 pm On Sunday, April 26th from 2-4 at the Hilltop Arboretum Pavilion. We'll have Hershey's Ice Cream come out with many flavors to choose from and live music from Dorothy LeBlanc and The Buskers. Bring a blanket and lawn chair and enjoy visiting with your neighbors!	Oak Hills Neighborhood Directory Coming by mid-March 2009! Be sure to join GOHCA so you can get your updated book!

Who can join the GOHCA?

All Oak Hills residents are eligible for membership in the Greater Oak Hills Civic Association.
The membership fee is $50.00 and is based on a calendar year from January to December.

* Neighborhood directory - a new one will be published this year (2010) for members only

* Quarterly newsletter published and delivered to your door

* Automated phone tree system for contacting all Oak Hill residents

* Member of Federation of Civic Associations in B.R.

* Guidelines are set and voiced to developers that affect Oak Hills

* Representation of over 500 homes as we voice our opinions/vote at our Metro Council Meetings

* Welcoming committee

* Block captain coordinators and block captains to aid in collecting and distributing neighborhood information

* Streets repaved

* Sidewalks repaired

* Some drainage and sewage problems addressed and repaired - these are still being addressed

* Stop signs installed to slow traffic

* Missing street signs replaced

* Regional developments & zoning issues that affect our neighborhood are watched and dealt with accordingly
